Parent Teacher Fellowship

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. – Philippians 2:1-2

Part of what makes GCA special is the high level of involvement from our families. Our children love to see their parents and family members involved at the school and the school-parent relationship is strengthened by the investment of the parents’ time. That’s why Grace Christian Academy warmly welcomes you to our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF).

Mission

PTF is a volunteer group whose mission is to promote a vibrant, engaging experience of Christ-centered community among GCA parents, teachers, administration, and students.

PTF Objectives

  • Advancing the mission and vision of the school and contributing to a positive school environment.
  • Serving and loving our teachers and staff as they carry out their work.
  • Providing our children with a variety of opportunities that are Christ-centered.
  • Promoting academic, spiritual, and social development for our student body that increases re-enrollment.
  • Encouraging parental participation in the school through varies volunteer opportunities.
  • Fundraising to support GCA staff and students with non-budgeted necessities.

Our goals are to share the love of Christ, to promote the welfare of the students through parental involvement in the school, and to strengthen coordination among parents, students, and the staff in order to encourage and support educational activities and to further develop the educational resources of the school.

Every parent, teacher, and staff member is automatically a member of PTF. No membership fees are required. PTF offers various opportunities for parents and students to use their talents and skills in getting connected at GCA. Involvement in the PTF means partnering with other parents in making the school a success.

The PTF relies on parents fulfilling the leadership positions for each of our committees and events, which include the positions of officers, chairs, and coordinators. Please consider the strengths and talents you have been given to serve our school.
